The fourth round of political consultations between the Sultanate of Oman and the Kingdom of Norway was held in Oslo.<\/p>\n

The Omani delegation was headed by Sheikh Khalifa Alharthy, Foreign Ministry Undersecretary for Political Affairs,<\/a> while the Norwegian delegation was headed by Stine Renate H\u00e5heim, State Secretary for International Development at the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.<\/a><\/p>\n

The consultations were held within the framework of the two countries\u2019 commitment to strengthening their friendship and cooperation and advancing mechanisms for dialogue and coordination.<\/p>\n

The consultations reviewed relations between the two friendly countries and explored ways to further develop them. The two delegations also exchanged views on a number of regional and international issues of mutual interest.<\/p>\n

On the sidelines of the consultations, Sheikh Khalifa also met with Espen Barth Eide, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Norway.<\/a><\/p>\n
