Ambassador Lyu Jian, China’s Ambassador to Oman<\/a>, said that his country believes in the importance of dialogue and consultation in addressing international issues and supports efforts aimed at promoting peace and shared development among nations.<\/p>\nHe added that China\u2019s vision is based on four main principles: promoting peaceful coexistence among nations, respecting the sovereignty and independence of states, adhering to the rule of international law, and linking development and security to achieve sustainable regional stability.<\/p>\n
He emphasised that Oman and China share similar philosophies and diplomatic stances, noting that Oman\u2019s foreign policy is based on a profound and unwavering vision of establishing friendly relations with all countries of the world, and a \u00a0commitment to promoting regional and international peace and security.<\/p>\n
The symposium saw extensive discussions and an exchange of views on the challenges facing diplomatic work in light of the current international situation, and on ways to enhance international cooperation to achieve stability and sustainable peace.<\/p>\n
