His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik<\/a> and President Abdul Fattah el Sisi of the Arab Republic of Egypt<\/a>, held a cordial meeting at Al Barakah Palace.<\/p>\n

During the meeting, the two leaders discussed regional issues and their political, economic, and security implications. They also exchanged views on ways to reach a final agreement to resolve the American-Iranian crisis through understanding, dialogue, and diplomatic channels.<\/p>\n

The meeting was attended from Oman by General Sultan bin Mohammed Al Nomani, Minister of the Royal Office; Sayyid Badr Albusaidi, Foreign Minister;<\/a> Dr Hamad bin Said Al Aufi, Head of the Private Office; and Sheikh Abdul Aziz bin Abdullah Al Hinai, Ambassador at large at the Foreign Ministry.<\/p>\n

The meeting was attended from Egypt by Major Gen Ahmed Ali Mohamed, Chief of the President’s Office; Dr Badr Abdelatty, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration, and Egyptian Expatriates;<\/a> Counsellor Omar Marwan, Director of the President’s Office; and Yasser Shaaban, Ambassador of Egypt to Oman.<\/a><\/p>\n

In a post on the social media platform X,<\/a> Oman’s Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi said that the talks reflected the strength of Oman\u2013Egypt relations and the mutual trust between the two countries.
