deployment of smart technologies in the logistics sector.<\/p>\n<p>Among these agreements are :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A memorandum of understanding valued at OMR 3.5 million over five years, signed between <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thunderlogistics.net\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Thunder Logistics<\/a> in Oman and RTX Allianz in Uzbekistan, aimed at strengthening cooperation in logistics &#8220;first and last mile&#8221; feeder services that connect efficiently with the public bus network.<\/li>\n<li>An agreement to provide ship bunkering services at <a href=\"https:\/\/portofduqm.om\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Duqm Port,<\/a> covering the supply of fuel for vessels and offshore installations.<\/li>\n<li>An agreement between <a href=\"https:\/\/www.transomcargo.om\/en\/home\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Transom<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/hhoman.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Beit Al Atlat Travel and Tourism<\/a> introducing an initiative to offer a more accessible and comfortable travel experience for people with special needs.<\/li>\n<li>An agreement between <a href=\"https:\/\/asyad.om\/your-logistics-hub-in-mena\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Asyad Group\u00a0<\/a> and OHI Group to provide integrated logistics services, \u00a0enhancing goods movement 2x\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Engineer Abdullah Ali Al Busaidi, Director General of Logistics at the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology, said that Oman&#8217;s logistics system plays an integrated developmental role by attracting investment and enhancing supply chain efficiency The aim is to make logistics the second-largest contributor to GDP by 2040, he added<\/p>\n<p>He noted that the transport and storage sector\u2019s contribution to GDP reached OMR 2.23 billion in 2024 and rose to OMR 2.35 billion in 2025, a 5.4 percent growth, with a target of OMR 3 billion by
