Its value reached OMR 25.4 billion, with inflows of OMR 2.53 billion.<\/p>\n<p>The data indicated that the manufacturing sector ranked second. Investment reached OMR 2.67 billion by the end of the fourth quarter of last year. Cash inflows declined to OMR 127 million. The financial intermediation sector ranked third with investments totalling OMR 1.50 billion, with inflows declining to OMR 69.1 million.<\/p>\n<p>Statistics also show that the real estate, rental and business activities sector recorded investments worth OMR 584.3 million, with inflows declining to OMR 14.4 million. Total foreign direct investment in the transport, storage and communications sector reached OMR 312.5 million, with inflows of OMR 2.5 million.<\/p>\n<p>The electricity and water sector recorded investments valued at OMR 318.7 million, with inflows increasing to OMR 25.8 million. Investment in the trade sector reached OMR 281 million, with inflows rising to OMR 4 million.<\/p>\n<p>Investments in the hotels and restaurants sector reached OMR 112.8 million, with inflows declining to OMR 700,000. The construction sector recorded investments worth OMR 99.1 million, with inflows rising to OMR 9.9 million. Other activities recorded investments totalling OMR 85.7 million, with inflows increasing to OMR 2 million.<\/p>\n<p>The United Kingdom ranked first in total foreign direct investment in Oman by the end of the fourth quarter of 2025. It accounted for 52.3 per cent, valued at OMR 16.42 billion. The United States came second with investments of OMR 8.45 billion, followed by Kuwait with OMR 1.36 billion, China with OMR 887.3 million, Qatar with OMR 763 million, United Arab Emirates with OMR 626.2 million, Bahrain with OMR 528.5 million, Netherlands with OMR 525.1 million, Switzerland with OMR 329.7 million and India with OMR 275.2 million.
