The two delegations discussed ways to maximise benefits from the US-Oman Free Trade Agreement (FTA)<\/a>, and increase US investments in Oman\u2019s priority sectors including the digital economy, technology, space, mining, logistics, aviation and infrastructure.<\/p>\n Oman and the U.S. also discussed cooperation in the fields of education and culture, particularly educational programmes, academic and professional exchanges, and investment in innovation and scientific research.<\/p>\n The two delegations also exchanged views on regional and international issues. They stressed the importance of supporting peace efforts, stability and development.<\/p>\n The Omani delegation announced the Sultanate of Oman’s agreement to accede to the Artemis Accords<\/a> on the future of space exploration.<\/p>\n Oman and the United States signed a Statement of Cooperation to celebrate the 250th<\/sup> Anniversary of the United States of America, which also celebrates the historical relations between the two friendly countries.
