A number of Oman\u2019s embassies around the world marked the National Day.<\/p>\n

In Cairo, Egypt<\/strong> ,\u00a0Abdullah bin Nasser Al Rahbi, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Arab Republic of Egypt and its Permanent Representative to the League of Arab States<\/a>, hosted a reception to celebrate Oman’s National Day.<\/p>\n

In his speech he said that celebrating on November 20 reflects pride in Oman\u2019s history since the establishment of the Al Busaidi state in 1744. He highlighted the renewed renaissance led by His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik<\/a>.<\/p>\n

He also noted the development of Omani Egyptian relations. He outlined key milestones in 2025, including the participation of His Highness Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham, Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth, in the opening of the Grand Egyptian Museum<\/a>. He also spoke of Oman\u2019s role as Guest of Honour at the Cairo International Book Fair, as well as the Arab coordination that led to the election of Khaled El Anany as Director General of UNESCO.<\/p>\n

He notedthe growing economic cooperation between the two countries and stated that the number of companies with Egyptian contributions in Oman reached 4763 by September this year. He referred to the seminar \u201cOman Egypt, Land of Opportunities\u201d which explored prospects for investment and economic integration. It was organised with several official institutions and private sector bodies in Egypt.<\/p>\n

The event was attended by officials from the Arab Republic of Egypt and members of the diplomatic corps from embassies of brotherly and friendly countries.<\/p>\n

In Bangkok, the Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman to the Kingdom of Thailand<\/strong> celebrated the National Day. Ambassador Issa bin Abdullah Al Alawi, Head of Mission<\/a>\u00a0hosted a reception.<\/p>\n

He delivered a speech in which he outlined Oman\u2019s long historical journey leading to its renewed renaissance. He noted what has been achieved under the leadership of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik.<\/p>\n

The Ambassador highlighted key features of Oman Vision 2040<\/a> and stated that Omani diplomacy follows a policy of positive neutrality and support for just causes. He praised the tangible development in relations with the Kingdom of Thailand in all fields.<\/p>\n

The Speaker of the Thai Parliament delivered a speech congratulating Oman\u2019s leadership and people. He valued Oman\u2019s pivotal role as a bridge of friendship and peace in the Middle East and pointed to the depth of diplomatic relations which have lasted 45 years. He also expressed the desire of both countries to expand cooperation in all fields.<\/p>\n

The ceremony included a visual presentation showing the stages of comprehensive development and achievements in Oman. A photography exhibition accompanied it and celebrated the country\u2019s geographic diversity and tourism assets. It documented the authenticity of Omani heritage and its landmarks.<\/p>\n

The event was attended as Guest of Honour, by Wan Muhamad Noor Matha, Speaker of the House of Representatives and President of the National Assembly of Thailand, along with Thai officials, Ambassadors to Thailand, members of the Arab and foreign diplomatic corps, representatives of regional and international organisations, leading political, cultural, academic and media figures and a number of Omani citizens.<\/p>\n

In Bern, Switzerland<\/strong>, the Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman in the Swiss capital<\/a> held an official celebration on the occasion of the Omani National Day. It was attended by Ambassadors to Switzerland, representatives of diplomatic missions and figures from government institutions and the academic sector in Switzerland.<\/p>\n

The event reflected the strength of relations between the two countries and their shared values of mutual respect and joint work for peace and stability.<\/p>\n

Ambassador Mahmoud bin Hamad Al Hasani, Head of Mission to the Swiss Confederation<\/a>, delivered a speech in which he said that Omani thought throughout history has centred on building the human being as the foundation of development and stability. He added that relations between states are upheld through justice, mutual respect and responsible dialogue. These principles guide Oman\u2019s diplomatic approach and form a core part of its balanced and positive neutrality.<\/p>\n

He also referred to the strength of Omani Swiss relations. He noted the constructive cooperation in various fields reflecting mutual trust and shared interest in strengthening the partnership.<\/p>\n

As part of cultural diplomacy, the embassy presented a joint exhibition featuring works by Omani photographer Mousa bin Salim Al Hajri and music by Omani artist Ahmed Al Musawi, with artistic direction by Swiss director Reem Al Alama.<\/p>\n

The exhibition offered an artistic perspective that highlighted the beauty of Oman in a contemporary visual style. It helped strengthen the presence of Omani cultural identity in international forums.<\/p>\n

\u00a0Guests at the event expressed their appreciation for Oman\u2019s message of dialogue, human development and the promotion of peace under the wise leadership of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik.<\/p>\n
