An Oman cultural event was launched at Casa \u00c1rabe<\/a> in the Spanish capital, Madrid, under the patronage of Sheikh Khalifa Alharthy, Foreign Ministry Undersecretary for Political Affairs<\/a>, and Diego Mart\u00ednez Bel\u00edo, Spain\u2019s State Secretary for Foreign and Global Affairs.<\/a><\/p>\n

\"Launch<\/p>\n

The event, Oman at Casa \u00c1rabe,<\/a> featured a musical performance \u00a0by the Takht Sharqi ensemble of the Royal Oman Symphony Orchestra, and the opening of a photography exhibition titled \u201cImages from the Land of Oman.\u201d It also included the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding for cooperation between Bait Al Zubair and Casa \u00c1rabe in Madrid.<\/p>\n

The event also featured a panel discussion on the Omani physician and chemist Ibn al Dhahabi<\/a>, who spent part of his life in Spain and is buried there.<\/p>\n

This cultural initiative is set to continue until the end of 2025, during which Casa \u00c1rabe will host an exhibition of Omani historical documents, an Omani film evening, and a day dedicated to Omani cuisine.<\/p>\n

The event was organised in cooperation with the Foreign Ministry, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth<\/a>, Bait Al Zubair, and the Cultural Club<\/a>.<\/p>\n
