The Royal Navy of Oman (RNO\u2019s) Shabab Oman II vessel<\/a>\u00a0docked at the port of Bremerhaven in the Federal Republic of Germany as part of its international voyage, \u00a0\u201cGlories of the Seas 2025\u201d.<\/p>\n

Upon its arrival, the ship was welcomed by Maithaa Saif Majid Almahrouqi, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Federal Republic of Germany<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The arrival of Shabab Oman II at Bremerhaven Port represents a meeting of two nations and two civilisations united by the sea. It symbolises sails of friendship and goodwill that knows no borders. Bremerhaven \u00a0serves as Germany\u2019s gateway to the oceans and a hub for both traditional and modern shipbuilding.<\/p>\n

This visit coincides with the participation of Shabab Oman II in the Bremerhaven Tall Ships Festival<\/a>, held from August 13 to 17. The festival is one of the largest maritime events in the world, attracting around one and a half million visitors from across the globe to enjoy displays of classic and modern sailing ships, along with a variety of cultural, artistic and popular activities.<\/p>\n

As part of its seventh international voyage to Europe, Shabab Oman II began welcoming visitors on board. Guests toured its facilities and listened to a detailed presentation about its voyage, which was crowned with winning the International Friendship Award for the fifth time.<\/a><\/p>\n

Issa Aljahwari, Commander of Shabab Oman II, said: \u201cShabab Oman II of the Royal Navy of Oman has reached its twentieth stop on the international voyage “Glories of the Seas 2025”, arriving at the port of Bremerhaven in the Federal Republic of Germany after sailing nearly 9,000 nautical miles over three and a half months.<\/p>\n

“The ship aims to welcome the largest possible number of visitors to convey Oman\u2019s noble message of friendship and peace to all peoples, while also showcasing the authentic Omani culture and civilisation, as well as the country\u2019s tourism, economic and cultural potential.”<\/p>\n
