Oman and the Republic of Belarus signed three Memoranda of Understanding in Muscat to enhance cooperation and transfer technology in the fields of vehicles and smart technologies.<\/p>\n

The first Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), signed between Karwa Motors<\/a> and the Belarusian company Amkodor<\/a>, sets a joint framework for industrial and commercial cooperation between the two parties, enabling them to expand into the markets of Oman, the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC)<\/a> countries and African nations.<\/p>\n

The second MoU, signed between Karwa and the Belarusian company MAZ<\/a>, provides for cooperation in the manufacturing and distribution of transport vehicles, specialised vehicles and trailers. It also includes studying market opportunities, joint marketing, establishing a fully integrated production line at the Karwa Motors plant in Oman, transferring technical knowledge from the Belarusian side, offering specialised training programmes and providing technical support to enhance the capabilities of national personnel in this field.<\/p>\n

The two MoUs were signed on behalf of Karwa by Dr Ibrahim Albalushi, CEO of the company, and by Aliaksei Zanduk, Deputy General Director for Marketing at Amkodor, and Alexander Atrushik, Deputy Commercial Director at MAZ.<\/p>\n

The third MoU was signed between the Oman National Engineering and Investment Company (ONEIC)<\/a> and the Belarusian company Delivery Software, Delivio<\/a>. It aims to foster technical cooperation by bringing advanced digital solutions and software to the Omani market and the wider region. The main areas of cooperation include developing innovative solutions in information and communication technology, artificial intelligence applications, financial technology, and advanced technical services that support digital transformation and improve institutional operational efficiency.<\/p>\n

The MoU was signed on behalf of ONEIC by Eng. Aziz Alhasani, General Manager of IT and E-Business at the company, and for Belarus by Andrei Sudakov, CEO of Delivery Software.<\/p>\n

The signing ceremony was attended by Abdulsalam Almurshidi, President of the Oman Investment Authority<\/a>, Dr Abdullah Alharthi, Honorary Consul of the Republic of Belarus to Oman, and a number of officials from both countries.<\/p>\n

The signing of these MoUs comes within the framework of the Omani-Belarusian Joint Committee\u2019s efforts to strengthen strategic partnerships between leading companies in both countries, contributing to technology transfer and the development of national expertise, and to position Oman as an attractive regional hub for quality investments and future-oriented projects.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
