The Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of Yemen held a session of political consultations in Muscat.<\/p>\n

Sheikh Khalifa Alharthy, Undersecretary for Political Affairs<\/a>, led the Omani delegation while Mansour Ali Saeed Bajash, Deputy Minister for Political Affairs<\/a> led the Yemeni representation.<\/p>\n

\u200eThe discussions covered relations and cooperation in the economic field, trade, and matters related to movement and communication.<\/p>\n

The talks also addressed the latest developments in Yemen, exploring ways to resume the peace process to reach a just and comprehensive solution that considers the interests of all parties without exception.<\/p>\n

Regional issues of mutual concern were also discussed.<\/p>\n

The session was attended by Ambassador Sheikh Ahmed Almaskari, Head of the Oman Foreign Ministry’s Department for the GCC and region, Dr Khaled Saleh Ali Shatef, Ambassador of the Republic of Yemen to the Sultanate of Oman<\/a>, and a number of officials from both countries.<\/p>\n
