The Sultanate of Oman took part in a ministerial meeting of the Strategic Dialogue between the Gulf Cooperation Council<\/a>\u00a0 (GCC) and the Central Asian countries, held in the sisterly State of Kuwait.<\/p>\n

The Omani delegation was led by Khalid Almuslahi, Undersecretary of the Foreign Ministry for Administrative and Financial Affairs<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al Ahmad Al Sabah, Crown Prince of the State of Kuwait<\/a>, received \u00a0the Undersecretary separately, during his reception of the heads of delegations to the Strategic Dialogue meeting.<\/p>\n

Abdullah Ali Al Yahya, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kuwait<\/a>, also met with the Undersecretary to review relations between the two countries as well as the meeting’s agenda.<\/p>\n

The Undersecretary also had a separate meeting with Ahmed Gurbanov, Deputy Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan.<\/a><\/p>\n

The meeting discussed aspects of cooperation between the two friendly countries and ways to enhance that cooperation. They also discussed other issues of mutual interest.<\/p>\n

The Undersecretary also met with Nasreddin<\/a> Ismatullo, First Deputy Foreign Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan<\/a>, to discuss areas of cooperation between the two friendly countries, as well as a number of issues of mutual interest.<\/p>\n

The meetings were attended by Sheikh Ahmed Almaskari, Head of the Ministry’s Department for the GCC and Region, and Ambassador Saleh Alkharusi, Oman’s Ambassador to the State of Kuwait<\/a>, along with a number of officials from both sides.<\/p>\n
