Public and private companies participating in Oman’s pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka, Japan<\/a> aim to explore new opportunities with their Japanese counterparts to establish commercial partnerships and investments, particularly in the fields of technology, IT, electricity, water, tourism, and energy.<\/p>\n

These companies also seek to attract Japanese businesses to the Omani market to maximise the economic and investment benefits of this global event.<\/p>\n

\"Ashraf<\/p>\n

Ashraf Almamari, CEO of OQ Group<\/a>, said the presence of Japanese technology firms at Expo means the pavilion offers many investment opportunities, particularly for the companies supporting and contributing to it.<\/p>\n

He noted the importance of meeting with Japanese companies and the potential to transfer their technological expertise to the Sultanate of Oman.<\/p>\n

\"Ahmed<\/p>\n

Ahmed Almahruzi, CEO of Nama Group<\/a>, said that Oman’s participation in Expo 2025 Osaka, Japan<\/a> is a valuable opportunity to showcase investment prospects, particularly in the electricity and water sectors, which could attract foreign direct investment to the Sultanate.<\/p>\n

\"Talal<\/p>\n

Talal Almamari, CEO of Oman Telecommunications Company (Omantel)<\/a>, said through its participation in Oman’s pavilion Omantel hopes to strengthen the framework of Omani-Japanese economic relations, particularly in the technology sector.<\/p>\n

He noted the company’s interest in working with Japanese firms through submarine cables that connect data centres in both countries, adding he hopes for increased momentum in this area of economic cooperation.<\/p>\n

\"Dr<\/p>\n

Dr Hashil Almahrouqi, CEO of Omran Group<\/a>, said the group\u2019s participation aims to support the development of several projects in the Sultanate of Oman and explore opportunities for cooperation and investment with Japanese tourism companies.<\/p>\n

\"Zubair<\/p>\n

Zubair bin Mohammed, Vice Chairman of the Zubair Corporation<\/a>, noted that Expo 2025 represents a major opportunity for Omani companies to strengthen cooperation and establish commercial partnerships with Japanese firms, especially given the long-standing relations between Oman and Japan.<\/p>\n
