{"id":23530,"date":"2025-04-07T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2025-04-07T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.fm.gov.om\/23530\/"},"modified":"2025-12-31T12:17:12","modified_gmt":"2025-12-31T12:17:12","slug":"king-of-bhutan-receives-minister","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.fm.gov.om\/en\/23530\/","title":{"rendered":"King of Bhutan receives Minister"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kingdomofbhutan.com\/kingdom\/kingdom_.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Kingdom of Bhutan<\/a> welcomed<a href=\"https:\/\/www.fm.gov.om\/ministry\/about-us\/key-figures\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> Oman&#8217;s Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi<\/a> at the Royal Palace in the capital, Thimphu.<\/p>\n<p><img data-opt-id=2143367459  fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-76180 size-fusion-800\" src=\"https:\/\/mlzlkxvcvliz.i.optimole.com\/cb:ghTT.1f99\/w:auto\/h:auto\/q:mauto\/g:sm\/f:best\/https:\/\/www.fm.gov.om\/wp-content\/uploads\/Butan-2-e1744051307181-800x533-1.jpg\" alt=\"Bhutan's King receives Foreign Minister.\" width=\"800\" height=\"533\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Sayyid Badr Albusaidi conveyed the greetings of <a href=\"https:\/\/fm.gov.om\/about-oman\/state\/head-of-state\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik<\/a> to the King, along with His Majesty\u2019s wishes for his good health and well-being.<\/p>\n<p>He also expressed His Majesty\u2019s hopes for continued progress and prosperity for the friendly people of Bhutan, and for the steady growth of fruitful cooperation between the two countries.<\/p>\n<p>For his part, the King asked the Foreign Minister to convey his greetings and appreciation to His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik.<\/p>\n<p>He wished His Majesty continued success, the Omani people lasting prosperity and progress, and further development and growth in relations between the two friendly countries.<\/p>\n<p>The meeting was attended by Abdulsalam Almurshidi, President of the <a href=\"https:\/\/oia.gov.om\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Oman Investment Authority<\/a>; Sheikh Abdulaziz Alhinai, Oman&#8217;s Ambassador at large; and Issa Alshibani, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fm.gov.om\/new-delhi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Oman\u2019s Ambassador to the Republic of India and non resident Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bhutan<\/a>, along with a number of officials from the Foreign Ministry.<\/p>\n<p>This is an unofficial English version of an Arabic report.
