Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi<\/a> visited the Astana International Financial Centre<\/a> as part of his official visit to the Republic of Kazakhstan.<\/p>\n

The Minister considered the role of the Financial Centre in enhancing the investment and financial sectors in line with international standards, and discussed opportunities for cooperation between the Sultanate of Oman and Kazakhstan in these areas. He confirmed the importance of exchanging expertise to support shared economic growth.<\/p>\n

The Minister also visited Astana Opera<\/a>, one of the capital’s most prominent cultural landmarks. He appreciated its facilities, artistic potential and role in enhancing the cultural and artistic scene.<\/p>\n

Sayyid Badr also took the opportunity to see Astana Hub<\/a>, the largest international technology centre for start-up companies in Central Asia. He was given a presentation on the projects and technological innovations of the Hub and its role in supporting entrepreneurship and technological cooperation.<\/p>\n

These Astana visits are intended to enhance cooperation between the Sultanate of Oman and Kazakhstan in the economic, cultural and technological fields. They also seek to explore promising opportunities in finance, arts and digital innovation.<\/p>\n

A number of officials from Oman and Kazakhstan accompanied the Foreign Minister during the visits.<\/p>\n
