His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik<\/a> received written messages from Sadyr Japarov, President of the Kyrgyz Republic<\/a>, and Adylbek Kasymaliev, Chairman of Cabinet Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic<\/a>, regarding relations between the two friendly countries.<\/p>\n

Oman’s Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi<\/a> received the messages during his meeting in Muscat with Zheenbek Kulubayev, Foreign Minister of Kyrgyzstan.<\/p>\n

The meeting discussed bilateral relations and ways to enhance them, particularly in the areas of mining, renewable energy, food security, and investment.<\/p>\n

The two Ministers also reviewed and exchanged views on the latest regional and international developments. They reaffirmed their countries’ commitment to peaceful solutions to conflicts, which contribute to security, stability, and promoting harmony among nations and peoples.<\/p>\n

During the meeting the two Ministers also signed a memorandum of understanding on political consultations between Oman and Kyrgyzstan.<\/p>\n

The meeting was attended by Sheikh Ahmed Almaskari, Acting Head of the Central Asia Department, along with officials from both countries.<\/p>\n
