It adds that such action constitutes a threat to security and stability in the region.<\/p>\n<p>Oman calls upon the international community to shoulder its responsibilities in protecting the rights of the Palestinian people. It underlines the necessity of reaching a just and comprehensive solution to the Palestinian issue, based on legitimate international resolutions and the Arab Peace Initiative \u2013 a solution that ensures the establishment of an independent Palestinian state on the borders of June 4, 1967, with Al Quds A\u2019Sharqiyah (East Jerusalem) as its capital.<\/p>\n<p>This is an unofficial English version of an Arabic report.
