His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik Al Said<\/a> received at Al Baraka Palace Sheikh Fahad Yusuf Saud Al Sabah, First Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister of the State of Kuwait.<\/p>\n

During the meeting, Sheikh Fahad conveyed a message from His Highness Sheikh Meshal al Ahmad al Jaber al Sabah, Emir of the State of Kuwait<\/a>, emphasising the strong relations between Oman and Kuwait and their shared commitment to advancing mutual interests.<\/p>\n

The meeting also discussed military and security cooperation between Oman and Kuwait and ways to enhance it to support stability and security in both countries and the wider region.<\/p>\n

The meeting was attended from Oman by Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs, and \u00a0Sayyid Hamood bin Faisal bin Said Al Busaidi, Interior Minister. It was also attended by Dr Mohammed Nasser Al Hajri, Kuwait\u2019s Ambassador to Oman<\/a>, and Major General Hamed Manahi Al Mutairi, Assistant Undersecretary for Criminal Security Affairs at Kuwait\u2019s Interior Ministry.<\/p>\n
