His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik<\/a> and President Jo\u00e3o Louren\u00e7o of the Republic of Angola<\/a> held an official session of talks at Al Alam Palace.<\/p>\n

The session explored areas of cooperation and investment between the Sultanate and Angola in the areas of mining, agriculture, food security, ports, logistics and renewable energy.<\/p>\n

The session was attended from Oman by His Highness Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs; His Highness Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham Al Said, Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth; Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal Al Busaidi, Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court, General Sultan bin Mohammed Al Nomani, Minister of the Royal Office; Sayyid Hamoud bin Faisal Al Busaidi, Interior Minister; Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister; Dr Hamad bin Said Al Oufi, Head of the Private Office; Abdulsalam bin Mohammed Al Murshidi, President of the Oman Investment Authority and Dr Said bin Mohammed Al Saqri, Minister of Economy \u00a0and Head of the Mission of Honour.<\/p>\n

The talks were attended from Angola by: Jos\u00e9 de Lima Massano, Minister of State for Economic Coordination; T\u00e9te Antonio, Minister of Foreign Affairs; Vera Esperan\u00e7a dos Santos Daves de Sousa, Minister of Finance; Diamontino Pedro Azevedo, Minister of Mineral Resources, Oil and Gas; Mario Augusto da Silva Oliveira, Minister of Telecommunications, Information Technology, and Social Communication; Edeltrudes Costa Louren\u00e7o, Chief of Staff at the Presidency and Dr Frederico Cardoso, non-resident Ambassador of the Republic of Angola.<\/p>\n

After that, His Majesty the Sultan and the Angolan President held a closed-door session of talks.<\/p>\n
