His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik and President Recep Tayyip Erdo\u011fan of the Republic of T\u00fcrkiye held an official session of talks at the Presidential complex in the capital Ankara today.<\/p>\n

The two leaders discussed ways to promote the relations of historical friendship between Oman and T\u00fcrkiye and various spheres of cooperation and investment to serve the interests of the two countries.<\/p>\n

They also exchanged views on a set of regional and international political developments.<\/p>\n

The talks were attended from Oman by Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs; Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal Al Busaidi, Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court; Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister; Dr Hamad bin Said Al Aufi, Head of the Royal Office; Abdulsalam bin Mohammed Al Murshidi, Head of the Oman Investment Authority; Qais bin Mohammed Al Yousef, Minister of Commerce, Industry, and Investment Promotion; and Ambassador Saif bin Rashid Al Jahwari, Oman’s Ambassador to Turkey.<\/p>\n

The talks were attended from T\u00fcrkiye by: \u00a0Hakan Fidan, Minister of Foreign Affairs; Mehmet \u015eim\u015fek, Minister of Treasury and Finance; Ya\u015far G\u00fcler, Minister of Defence; Mehmet Fatih Kacir, Minister of Industry and Technology; \u00d6mer Bolat, Minister of Trade, Mehmet Hakimo\u011flu, Ambassador of the Republic of Turkiye to the Sultanate of Oman, and Fahrettin Altun, Head of Communications for the Presidency.<\/p>\n
