The Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of Romania held their fourth session of political consultations in the Romanian capital, Bucharest.<\/p>\n

Oman’s delegation was led by Sheikh Khalifa Alharthy, Foreign Ministry Undersecretary for Political Affairs<\/a>, while Romania’s was headed by Traian Hristea, Secretary of State for Global Affairs and Diplomatic Strategies<\/a>.<\/p>\n

They discussed relations in areas including trade, investment, education and information technology as well as the possibility of establishing a direct flight between Muscat and Bucharest.<\/p>\n

They also exchanged views on various regional and international issues of mutual interest.<\/p>\n

The session was attended by Florin Tacu, Romania’s Ambassador to Oman<\/a>, along with several officials from both countries.<\/p>\n

In a separate meeting, the Political Undersecretary discussed aspects of cooperation between the two friendly countries with Dan Drago\u0219 Dr\u0103gan, Romania’s Energy Secretary<\/a>.<\/p>\n
