The second Omani-Hungarian Joint Technical Economic Committee meeting concluded in Muscat after discussing opportunities for joint investment and cooperation between the two countries in economic, commercial, and investment sectors.<\/p>\n

The discussions focused on fossil energy, renewable energy and green hydrogen, as well as cooperation in agriculture and water management. The exchange of expertise in training, science and technology, high-tech innovations and space was also highlighted.<\/p>\n

The Omani delegation was led by Sheikh Khalifa Alharthy, Undersecretary for Political Affairs at the Foreign Ministry<\/a>, while the Hungarian side was headed by Dr Tam\u00e1s Vargha, Hungary\u2019s Deputy Minister of Defence<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The meetings were attended by representatives from various Omani institutions and government bodies. Also present were Barnab\u00e1s Fodor, Hungary’s Ambassador to Oman; <\/a>Abdullah bin Hamad Al Riyami, Head of the Foreign Ministry’s Cultural Cooperation Department at the Foreign Ministry and various Hungarian officials.<\/p>\n

All agreed on \u00a0the importance of closely following up on the discussions to achieve the desired outcomes for the benefit of both countries.<\/p>\n
