Oman and the Republic of Belarus held a seventh round of political consultations in Muscat.<\/p>\n

Oman was represented by Sheikh Khalifa Alharthy, Foreign Ministry Undersecretary for Political Affairs<\/a>, and Belarus was represented by Evgeny Shestakov, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs.<\/a><\/p>\n

Relations between Oman and Belarus were discussed and the keenness of both countries to continue developing cooperation in all fields was emphasised. A number of regional and international issues were also discussed, including the repercussions of the Israeli war on Gaza.<\/p>\n

The session was attended by Ambassador Munther bin Mahfouz Al Mandhari, Head of the Foreign Ministry’s Europe Department; Sergei Terentyev, Ambassador of Belarus to Oman, and a number of officials from both countries.<\/p>\n
