Oman and Tanzania signed seven memoranda of understanding (MoUs) at the Oman-Tanzanian Business Forum in Muscat.<\/p>\n

The forum was attended by Qais Al Yousef, Minister of Commerce, Industry, and Investment Promotion;<\/a>\u00a0Said Salim Hamed Alsinawi, Oman’s Consul General in Zanzibar;<\/a> Sharif Ali Sharif, Minister of State in the President\u2019s Office for Labour, Economy, and Investment; Faisal bin Abdullah al Rawas, Chairman of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, <\/a>and other officials.<\/p>\n

More than 150 participants from Tanzania also attended.<\/p>\n

The forum featured several presentations on enhancing investment attraction, incentives and investment opportunities in Oman and Tanzania.<\/p>\n

These efforts aim to provide unique opportunities for investors to explore new economic environments and expand avenues of commercial\u00a0 cooperation between the two countries.<\/p>\n

The MoUs were signed in the sectors of construction, real estate, agriculture, information and communication technology, renewable energy, investment services and consulting in both Tanzania and Zanzibar.<\/p>\n
