His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik Al Said<\/a> met today with Sir Keir Starmer, Prime Minister of the United Kingdom,<\/a> at his office in London.<\/p>\n

His Majesty reviewed with the Prime Minister the close historical relations between Oman and the UK and ways to consolidate existing cooperation to achieve the common interests of the friendly Omani and British peoples.<\/p>\n

They also exchanged views on the latest developments in the regional and international arenas and issues of mutual interest.<\/p>\n

The meeting was attended by\u00a0Sayyid Badr Albusaidi, Oman’s Foreign Minister;<\/a> Dr Hamad Said Al Aufi, Head of the Private Office; and Oman’s Ambassador to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Badr Mohammed Badr Almantheri.<\/a><\/p>\n

The meeting was also attended by\u00a0David Lammy, British Foreign Secretary; <\/a>the British Ambassador to Oman, Dr Liane Saunders<\/a>, and a number of other officials.<\/p>\n
