It will replace the Electronic Visa Waiver (EVW) system from February 22, 2024.<\/p>\n<p>The ETA will allow multiple entries to the UK over a period of two years or until the expiration of the visitor&#8217;s passport, whichever comes first. The Oman Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the system will open new horizons for commercial, educational and tourism exchange.<\/p>\n<p>Omani citizens can download the UK ETA app on their phones through the Android or Apple Store or visit the following link: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/guidance\/apply-for-an-electronic-travel-authorisation-eta\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/guidance\/apply-for-an-electronic-travel-authorisation-eta<\/a><\/p>\n<p>These are the steps to submit an ETA application:<\/p>\n<p>1. Confirm identity.<\/p>\n<p>2. Answer a number of questions related to travel.<\/p>\n<p>3. Pay the permit fee of 10 British pounds (\u00a310).<\/p>\n<p>To obtain the permit applicants must have:<\/p>\n<p>1. A valid passport.<\/p>\n<p>2. An email address and access to it.<\/p>\n<p>3.
