His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik Al Said<\/a> left Muscat today heading to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan on a two-day state visit during which he will meet King Abdullah II ibn Al-Hussein<\/a> of Jordan.<\/p>\n

The visit, made in response to an invitation by King Abdullah, will promote the fraternal ties between the two countries and their peoples.<\/p>\n

His Majesty was bid farewell at the Private Royal Airport by His Highness Sayyid Fahd bin Mahmoud Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Cabinet Affairs; His Highness Sayyid Asaad bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Affairs and the Special Representative of His Majesty; His Highness Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham Al Said, Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth; Sheikh Abdul Malik bin Abdullah Al Khalili, Chairman of the State Council; Khalid bin Hilal Al Maawali, Chairman of the Shura Council; Sayyed Muhammad bin Sultan Al Busaidi, Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Judicial Council; Dr Madiha bint Ahmed bin Nasser Al Shibaniyah, Education Minister; Sayyid Hamood bin Faisal bin Said Al Busaidi, Minister of Interior; Nasr bin Hamoud Al Kindi, Secretary General of Royal Court Affairs; Sheikh Al Fadhl bin Mohammed Al Harthy, Secretary General of the Council of Ministers; Lieutenant General Hassan bin Mohsen Al Shariqi, Inspector General of Police and Customs; Lieutenant General Saeed bin Ali Al Hilali, Head of the Internal Security Service; Dr Hilal bin Ali Al Sabti, Minister of Health; Lieutenant General Abdullah bin Khamis Al Raisi, Chief of Staff of the Sultan\u2019s Armed Forces; Major General Matar bin Salem Al Balushi, Commander of the Royal Army of Oman; Air Vice Marshall Khamis bin Hammad Al Ghafri, Commander of the Royal Air Force of Oman; Rear Admiral Saif bin Nasser Al Rahbi, Commander of the Royal Navy of Oman; and Major General Musallam bin Muhammad bin Taman Jaaboub, Commander of the Sultan\u2019s Special Force.<\/p>\n
