{"id":12845,"date":"2024-04-19T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2024-04-19T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.fm.gov.om\/12845\/"},"modified":"2025-12-31T11:58:29","modified_gmt":"2025-12-31T11:58:29","slug":"oman-signs-gas-supply-deal-with-turkish-company","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.fm.gov.om\/en\/12845\/","title":{"rendered":"Oman signs gas supply deal with Turkish company"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/omanlng.co.om\/en\/Pages\/home.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Oman LNG<\/a> has signed an agreement with the Turkish company <a href=\"https:\/\/www.botas.gov.tr\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Bota\u015f,<\/a> to supply it with about one million metric tons a year of a liquefied natural gas (LNG) over a period of 10 years starting from 2025.<\/p>\n<p>The agreement builds on the existing cooperation between Oman LNG and Bota\u015f and strengthens Oman&#8217;s position as a reliable energy supplier.<\/p>\n<p>Hamed Al Naamany, CEO of Oman LNG, said that the agreement supports the company&#8217;s efforts to access global markets and support the national economy by facilitating Delivery Ex-Ship (DES) contracts for customers in both European and Asian markets.<\/p>\n<p>He added that this agreement will enhance the reputation of Oman LNG as a reliable provider of liquefied natural gas and demonstrates its pioneering ability to manage efficiently its business operations to provide safe energy to customers worldwide.<\/p>\n<p>This is an unofficial English version of an Arabic report.
