He went on to pioneer the Omani Art Movement.<\/p>\n<p>His work is a combination of impressionism, pointillism and expressionism, and often incorporates Arabic calligraphy. He is inspired by Oman\u2019s traditions, folklore and geography, in particular in Dhofar, his homeland.<\/p>\n<p>Anwar\u2019s work has been exhibited across the globe.
